Suzuki Confirms Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Viñales as its Riders for 2015 MotoGP Campaign

We all knew that Suzuki Motor Corporation has decided to jump back in the MotoGP class from 2015, but we did not know that it has finalized the two riders for its team. Yes that’s right! Suzuki has announced the name of the two riders, who will lead it in the premier class racing. Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Viñales are the two riders, who have secured a contract with the team. The two Spanish riders will now ride Suzuki’s MotoGP machinei in 2015.

On this occasion Suzuki also revealed its brand new MotoGP bike along with team structure. Davide Brivio, who was the test team manager of Suzuki, has cemented his place and now he will spearhead the side along with Espargaro and Viñales.

Currently, Espargaro is engaged with NGM Forward Racing in the MotoGP world championship, where he is enjoying number six position in the overall standings. On the other hand, Viñales, who had won the 2013 Moto3 world championship, is now participating in Moto2 where he is sitting at number three position at the moment.

However, before taking part in the 2015 MotoGP season, we will see Suzuki participating in the last race of 2014 season. Thanks to a wildcard entry that has allowed the Suzuki team to take part in the Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana.

By re-joining MotoGP, Suzuki is looking to develop more attractive and better products for its customers through technical feedback. It will also help the company to improve its brand image. Suzuki is coming back to MotoGP after a break of two years, as it has temporarily suspended itself from participating in the premier class racing from 2012.

However, the Japanese firm carried on with the development of its machines so it could attain high performance in the premier class racing. The company also continued the development as it wanted to give feedback on technology to the models that are under production like GSX-R series. So it could produce high speed and maneuverable machines.

But we will get to know how fast and maneuverable Suzuki’s MotoGP machine is when it will join the grid with its rivals in the last race of this season.
