Marc Marquez Makes it Eight Out of Eight in Dutch Grand Prix

Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez once again proved his dominance, as he won his eighth straight race of the 2014 season on Saturday, June 28th in Netherlands. The 21-year old rider has equalled the eight win record of 1971 rider Giacomo Agostini with this victoryin spite of sliding off the track during the race. The unfortunate error occurred during early laps when Marquez lost the control of his bike due to wet conditions, but he swiftly recovered from it. Marc then picked the pace once again and bridged the gap between him and the leading rider Andrea Dovizioso of Ducati. Before he over took Dovizioso to lead all the riders when 11 laps were left in the race.

After that Marquez did not allow any rider including Dovizioso to come close to him, as he went on to win the raceby 6.74 seconds. This was indeed a remarkable effort by the Spaniard, as he won the Dutch Grand Prix in spite of making an error and starting second on the grid. That has once again proved why Moto GP fans praise him. On the other hand, when Ducat rider Dovizioso failed to catch up Marquez, he decided to settle for the second and managed to reach the podium for the second time during the season. Marquez’s teammate Dani Pedrosa crossed the chequered flag in third place.

Pedrosa gained the position after a tough and long battle with Aleix Espargaro of NGM Forward Racing team, who was not able to maintain the lead despite starting from pole position. Espargaro ended up securing the fourth place, while Movistar Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi finished the race in fifth place after his slick tyre gamble did not pay off.

Marquez admitted after the race that he was pretty nervous before going in to the race because he did not have much experience when it comes to riding in wet conditions. The Spaniard said that he switched to slicks after he started the race on the wet track, but it did not work as he was about to slid off in the next lap. Luckily, he came back and then pushed hard till he crossed the finish line, said Marquez.

Reflecting on the race, second positioned rider Dovizioso said that Marquez was extremely fast on dry track and during the mid of the race track was dry. Thus, he did not get any chance to follow Marquez once the Honda rider outstripped him and second place then seemed fine to him, said Andrea.

J&S Accessories, on the other hand, does not want anything less than the best for its customers. Therefore, the premium chain of UK-based motorcycle store has stocked accessories and clothing of top motorcycle brands and that too are available at very low prices.

Dani Pedrosa hoping to be ‘One Step Fitter’ for the Race in Assen

Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa, who had given his teammate Marc Marquez tough fight in Catalunya in an effort to gain the victory, is hoping that he will be ‘one step fitter’ when they will head to Netherlands for the next round of Moto GP on this weekend. Although, Dani had finished behind Marquez in Austin and Argentina, but he never tried to fight with his partner to finish first on both occasions. Thus, when Pedrosa challenged Marquez for the first time in Catalunya, Moto GP fans really got thrilled as they get to see an intense battle between the two Spaniards. Where, Pedrosa did not even bother to clip the rear tyre of Marc’s bike in the last laps when he was looking to overtake Marquez.

The dangerous move cost Dani to finish third in the race, as after Marquez, Movistar Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi also left him behind in the last lap to gain second position. Talking about the seventh round of the Moto GP World Championship, the satisfied Honda rider said he felt great to be back at the top and fighting in the last race. He also said that it was great to see such a tight contest between the four of them, as all of them made some terrific moves, which were really exciting. Dani wished on this occasion that he love to race like that at every week.

Reflecting his thoughts on the statement in which many declared Marquez as the fastest rider in the race; Pedrosa said that in the future he will try his best to break free. Dani said that perhaps next time he would change his strategy before last lap, but then again last lap is last lap so one cannot devise a plan for it, as you just got to go for it.

Talking about upcoming race in Netherlands, Pedrosa said that he is looking forward to race in Assen. Also, he hopes that he will be ‘one step fitter’ because in 2013 he was not able to perform well in the race, so he is looking to do better this time, said Pedrosa. The Spaniard also said that the weather in Assen is usually unpredictable, so riders have to take advantage of the time when they get dry track.

Adding to it Dani said that he likes the tack but it is equally important that you must get a good feeling about the tyre as there few corners in Assen that are quite fast. At this point in time, Pedrosa holds the third place in the overall standings, as he lies behind Rossi with just five points, while 63 points from first positioned Marquez.

Considering the last race and the meagre point difference between Rossi and Pedrosa Moto GP fans are hoping to see another exciting battle at Assen when the two will gather in Netherlands for the race. However, you will not find a motorcycle store that can match the quality and price that J&S Accessories offers to its customers.

Drive M7 Aspar Honda MotoGP Retains Britain’s Leon Camier as Reserve Rider

According to the latest updated the Drive M7 Aspar Honda Moto GP team has decided to retain the 2009 British Super bike Champion Leon Camier as a reserve rider. As a result of this decision, now Camier will be on hand to replace Nicky Hayden or his teammate Hiro Aoyama whenever the need arise. The British rider was also available to ride for Drive M7 Aspar in place of Hayden the seventh round of the Moto GP World Champion. However, in the end Aspar Honda decided to go with Hayden as his wrist was all right, but the team also kept Camier with them just in case if they may need him.

Now Camier is a full-time ride for the remaining 2014 season, but he is not going to latch onto any racing opportunity just to sate himself. The 2005 British Super sport Champion said while talking to bikesportnews that if he will race during this year, he would look to have right package that should be competitive and have a god squad around it. Leon said that he already had racing offers from IDM both in Britain and Germany along with World Super bikes, but he wants them to be right. Otherwise, he would not mind being just available for the Aspar Honda squad and securing a nice ride for 2015.
Adding to it, Camier said that it would be terrific if he gets an opportunity to race in Moto GP, but it appears that Hayden’s wrist is fine. In this case Nicky is obviously the best choice for the team, said Leon. Hayden had to go under the knife after he faced severe pain in his right wrist. The American rider was bearing this pain in his wrist for the past two or three rounds, but it got more severe just before French Grand Prix. It is when Nick decided to take his doctor’s advice and went through anarthroscopic cleaning procedure at the start of this month.
Though, Hayden had undergone a major surgery, but in spite of it he was able to recover just before the Spanish Grand Prix. That completely diminished Camier’s chances to ride Aspar’s machine during this season. Now it remains to be seen how long Camier have to wait to ride Aspar Honda’s bike or find a competitive deal where he gets to ride with a good squad.

In contrast to Leon, riders who have been looking to buy a top quality motorcycle accessory or clothing in the UK or Europe will not have to wait too long to get their hands on their desired product. As, J&S Accessories outlets and online store has made shopping more affordable for bikers by making top motorcycle brands’ clothing and accessories available at retail price.

Valentino Rossi Looking for an Italian Marc Marquez

According to the latest update Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s Valentino Rossi is looking for an Italian Marc Marquez. Yes that’s right the doctor, who had established VR46 Moto3 team in association with ex-boss of Ducati Moto GP team Vito Guareschi, has said that they will select only Italian riders for their team. The nine-time world champion made this decision because he wants to develop Italian talent that could compete with Marquez in the future races of the Moto GP. Reflecting his thought, Rossi said that their aim is to help Italian riders as they will work with them only in the future.

On this occasion, Valentino also said that they have numerous good riders in Italy which they like to help, but it will not be easy for them to find another rider like Marc. Rossi said still they are hopeful and they will look to use the available talent in the best possible way, as he think that VR46 rider Romano Fenati can put up a good fight for championship and victories. There is no doubt that Fenati can prove himself as a good rider, as he is already doing well in Moto3.

Thus far, Fenati has won three of the seven races and holds the second position in the world championship after Jack Miller. Besides, Fenati, his teammate Francesco Bagnaia has also made some serious effort to reach the podium in the several races, so the future looks pretty bright for both the riders and VR46 team.

Valentino is also impressed with the success of his VR46 team, as it has achieved it in very short time. The Yamaha rider said that the credit of this success goes to 18-year old Fenati who had enabled the team to reach this position today. Doctor said that he is extremely proud of this team and they are very fortunate that they found Fenati, as this year he had created a great atmosphere in the team.

According to Rossi, Fenati’s presence in his team has made a great difference as they had already remained victorious in three races. Now it remains to be seen how well Fenati and VR46 team will perform in the upcoming races of Moto3, as it will determine whether he can move up to the Moto2 and MotoGP class or not.

However, you will not have to wait too long to buy your favourite motorcycle accessory or clothing from J&S Accessories, as you can order your desired product from its online store by sitting at your home.

Pol Espargaro Hoping to Give Marc Marquez a Tough Fight in MotoGP Like He Did in Moto2

Budding Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider Pol Espargaro has wished to revive his moto racing battles with the current Moto GP World Champion Marc Marquez one day. The rookie rider said so because he used to be the main competitor of Marquez and not Valentino Rossi, when the two used to race in 125cc category and Moto2 World Championships. When Marquez won his 125 title season, Espargaroemerged as the third best rider. Then in 2013 when Repsol Honda Team acquired Marquez’s services to race in Moto GP, Pol managed to won the Moto2 championship.

Sharing his thoughts, Espargaro said after the race in Catalunya that he hopes someday he will be among the leaders (Marc, Valentino Rossi, DaniPedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo) and fighting with them for the lead. Pol said that he is not sure when that time will come, but he is certain that all riders in the premier class have the same target in their mind.

Espargaro also said that he knows that he could beat Marquez with the same bikes and experience in Moto2, but certainly that’s not possible in Moto GP it will be more tough for him because in this class a lot depends on the machine. In Moto GP everything is different, Pol added.

He said, in contrast things are more similar in Moto2 that is why he had some great battles with Marc in that category and he hopes that someday he will again have a fight with Marquez in Moto GP. Considering the current situation, where Marc has won all seven races of the 2014 season and Pol has finished just once in top five, it does not seem that Espargaro will be able to give Marquez a fight in the upcoming rounds.

Besides this, if Espargaro really want to give Marquez a tough fight in Moto GP he has to get rid of all the issues with his bike. Given that the Tech 3 rider himself admitted that they need to work on the used tyres in order to have better grip. Still one cannot completely discard the Spanish rider out of the competition, as he has earned 58 valuable points of Monster Yamaha team during this season. That has enabled Pol to hold sixth position in the overall standings behind Andrea Dovizioso of Ducati.

Just as you cannot discard J&S Accessories from the list of top motorcycle stores in the UK, as the firm has been providing top quality helmets, boots, gloves, clothing and much to the riders for several years now.

Marc Marquez Says it’s Titles That Matters More to Him than Winning Lots of Races

After achieving a stunning victory in Sunday, June 15, race at the Circuit de Catalunya, Repsol Honda Team’s rider Marc Marquez realized that it was “on the limit,” when saw it over television. The defending Moto GP world champion made this statement after showing some real pace in Monday’s test at Montmelo. The Spaniard also said that when he saw the race on the TV he realized that the machine was moving a lot, but everyone was on the edge. It was really nice moment for the fans, said Marc.

Talking about the fastest rider in the race at Catalunya, Marquez said that according to him Dani Pedrosa, his teammate, was the fastest of all in the last lap. Marc said that when Pedrosa overtook him, he instantly outstripped him in order to prevent him because he knew that Dani was really in a good rhythm, particularly with the used tyres. There is no doubt that Pedrosa was really fast in the last race, as the 28-year old rider made an aggressive assault on his teammate Marquez to snatch the lead from him.

In fact, Pedrosa was so belligerent that in an effort to clinch the lead from Marquez his machine even clipped the rear tyre of Marc’s bike. Yet he was not able to win the race, as Marquez swiftly outshined him and went on to win his seventh straight race in premier class to set a new record. Given that Marc has become the youngest rider to win seven Moto GP races in a single file after Rossi, who made this record in 2002.

The best part about Marc’s triumph is that he achieved it in front of his home crowd and led Honda to its 100th win in MotoGP. With almost each race Marquez is now setting a new record, so what do these recordsreally mean to him?

Answering this question, the reigning world champion said that before every race he gets the information from people about the records, which has become a motivation for him as it signifies that he is on the right track. However, Marquez said that his goal is to win titles rather than lots of races because after several people will only remember how many titles he has won and not the races.

The sensational rider made another new record on this Monday, June 16th when he rode the Honda machine during a test session in Catalunya. Marquez achieved the fastest pace in 1m 41.184s time to break Bradley Smith’s record.

Reflecting on the bile, Marc said that they did not install any new parts in the machine, just made a few changes in the electronics of the bike to improve its fuel consumption and stability while exiting the corners.

Marc said they expected something else from the test, but they got another thing in the end and he also did not achieve it too comfortably, but he gained loads of information for his team. Just like J&S Accessories that also has information for riders that its online store has displayed various high performance motorcycle clothing and accessories at very low prices.

Marc Marquez Wins Seventh MotoGP Race in a Row

In spite of crashing his bike in Saturday's QP session, the defending Moto GP World Champion and Repsol Honda Team’s rider Marc Marquez was able to win seventh race in a row on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Catalunya, Spain. However, the victory did not come that easy for Marc this time, as Spanish Moto GP fans get to see some intense battles between Marquez, Movistar Yamaha Moto GP’s Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda’s other rider Dani Pedrosa. The 21-year old Spaniard first had to deal with Rossi during the initial laps and then, his teammate Predrosa made an aggressive charge on him in the final two laps. Nevertheless, Marc managed to survive both the attacks and crossed the chequered flag to win his first premier class race in front of home crowd.

While Rossi finished second, as he clinched the lead from Pedrosa in the final lap and gained some valuable points (117) for his team. On the other hand, result was little disappointing for the Honda rider, as at one time he was looking to finish second but Valentino spoiled his party by outshining him in the last moment. As a result, Pedrosa failed to improve his position in the overall standings because he still sits behind Marc and Rossi at third position with 112 points. In contrast to Predrosa, Marquez tallied a perfect 175 points to make his lead in the standings even more convincing.

The best part about his victory was that Marc was able to become only the second to win seven straight races in Moto GP after Rossi, who achieved this record back in 2002. Above all, Marquez led Honda to its 100th victory in Moto GP and with it he also managed to reach his 62nd podium. On this occasion, the youngest Moto GP champion said while talking to BT sport that it feels so great to win in front of his home crowd. The rider also said that the race was pretty special for him, as he made a great comeback in the last laps after he was close to collide with Valentino in the early laps. He said it he felt strong and it was a great fight with Valentino first and then with Pedrosa.

Rossi also shared his thoughts after the race in Catalunya, as he said that he is very pleased with the result considering the fact that they modified his machine overnight and yet it worked well in the competition. Valentino also said that he did not make any mistakes during the race and the bike ran smoothly, in fact, at one point he thought he would win but in the last laps Honda proved too fast for him. Yet he fought well and therefore he is satisfied with the end result, said the seven-time Moto GP world champion.

Valentino deserves to be happy, as Pedrosa admitted that Rossi stunned him with his pace in the last lap. In spite of it, Dani believe that it was an enthralling battle between him, Rossi and Marc, as first he and Marquez exchanged leads before his teammate finally left him before when four laps were left in the race. Pedrosa said that the race was more about performance rather than points that is why he does not care whether it was 16 or 25 points.

Besides riders the weather in Montmelo was also looking bit aggressive as the last laps in the competition were run under lighting and thunder, as officials declined to stop the race. Just as J&S Accessories has declined to stop spoiling its customers with an exotic range of motorcycle clothing and accessories.

Nicky Hayden Making an Attempt to Ride in the Next Round of MotoGP

Nicky Hayden, the Drive M7 Aspar rider who had went under the knife less than two weeks ago, is now making an attempt to participate in the upcoming round of the MotoGP at Catalunya. The former MotoGP world champion will look to ride his Drive M7 machinery in Friday’s free practice session in order to find out how much he has recovered so far. The news must be little surprising for Hayden’s fans, as unlike Jorge Lorenzo and DaniPedrosa, Nicky did not have a minor surgery. The 32-year old American rider had undergone an arthroscopic cleaning procedure on his right wrist after he faced severe pain in right wrist at Mugello.

This was not the first venue where Hayden felt this pain in his wrist, as he experienced the same pain while taking part in both French and Spanish Grand Prix. Unfortunately, Hayden’s pain got more severe only by the time he reached Italy to participate in the sixth round of the world championship. After which Nicky finally decided to take his doctor’s advice. As a result, Nick had to miss last race in Mugello. However, now the experienced rider is looking to get back into action, but he is not stupid enough to take any risk that can further damage his wrist or comeback. That is why he had chosen to take part in the practice session only.

Giving an update about his condition, Hayden said that his wrist is much better than before, but it’s been only a week ago when he had the surgery, so it’s tough for him to say how well he will do in Barcelona. The rider also said that he have to wait a little more to determine his fitness level and also to know whether he can really go for the race on this weekend. He said he will make a shot in FP1 in order to see how he feels and then discuss it with his doctors and team to know whether he can take part in the race.

Hayden said that obviously he would be upset to miss another race, as it will make two races without any points. However, they need to think wisely by keeping the future in mind as they need to use both head and heart to make this decision, said Nick. Thus, they will adopt wait and see policy and stay positive.

Talking about the track in Montmelo, Hayden said that the track at the venue is fast and tough, as it has nearly everything from long corners to lean angles. Thus, if they save the soft tyre for the last part of the race it can really give them an edge in terms of grip, Nick added.

Just as soft tyre can give Hayden an edge in Catalunya, you too can benefit from the high performance gears and helmets of J&S Accessories that are available at its online store in wide variety and at affordable rates.

Nicky Hayden Goes Through Arthroscopic Cleaning Surgery in Italy

DRIVE M7 Aspar rider Nicky Hayden has joined the list of MotoGP riders who had went under the knife during 2014 season, as he had an arthroscopic cleaning surgery on his right wrist. The operation was conducted by Dr. Riccardo Luchetti on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 morning at 'Casa di CuraProfesor Ernesto Montanari Spa' in Morciano di Romagna in Italy. It was this very problem that forced Hayden out of the last Grand Prix at Mugello. Luckily, it was a minor wrist problem but still Nick had to undertake the surgery in order to get rid of the pain.

The pain in the wristcaused great discomfort to the American rider, when he rode in the previous rounds of the MotoGP world Championship. However, when the pain in the wrist got more severe at the demanding Italian circuit the DRIVE M7 Aspar rider decided to take his doctor’s advice and went under the knife. Thus, finally on Tuesday morning at 8:10amDr. Riccardo and his team successfully carried out the arthroscopic cleaning procedure on Hayden’s wrist in around one and a half hour.During the procedure doctors also removed some floating matter from 32-year old rider’s wrist.

After the surgery was completed doctor gave an anti-inflammatory injection to Hayden in order to relax his joint and ease the swelling. According to the report hospital will discharge theDRIVE M7 Aspar rider after giving him some rest. It is anticipated that Hayden will get fit in time to take part in the next round of the Grand Prix that will take place in Catalunya. Thus far, Hayden’s performance in the 2014 season has remained pretty impressive, as he sits at number 12 position in overall standings. While after six rounds he has been able to gain just 23 points for his team, which is not satisfactory by any means.

Now it remains to be seen whether the surgery on the wrist will bring any improvement in his performance because he badly needs to show a solid performance. Otherwise, it will not be possible for him to bounce back in this season. Nicky Hayden may be able to jump back in the game, but you will get a second chance to get high quality motorcycle personal protective equipment, if you have a severe accident on the road.

Therefore, it is advised that all riders must use high performance protective gear while riding a bike. Those, who do not have one and are looking to buy the best clothing or other motorcycle accessory should visit their nearest J&S Accessories or its online store and order one for them now.

Andrea Dovizioso Says He Did His Best at Mugello

Andrea Dovizioso of Ducati is one of the few MotoGP riders that are having a good run in 2014 World Championship, as with 63 points he is currently sitting at fifth place in the overall standings. Thanks to the sixth place finish at the 2014 Italian Grand Prix that has now put him just two points behind Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s Jorge Lorenzo (65 points). The decent result at Mugello also enabled him to become the best Ducati rider once again. There is no doubt that And Dovizioso has made a splendid effort to finish sixth in Italy considering the fact that he started the 23-lap race from eighth place on the grid.

Still before entering in lap two, Andrea gained fourth place and for several laps he was able to ride with the leading riders. Then, three riders surpassed Dovizioso after which he remained in the seventh place during rest of the race. Until the last lap, when Dovizioso outstripped Parmac Racing’s Andrea Iannone to finish the race in sixth place. Talking about the race the Italian rider said that he did his best as he could. At the end the result was not that bad, especially considering his gap from the leading riders, said Dovizioso.

Adding to it, Dovizioso said that they were also able to improve their race time during this year, as he was three and a half seconds faster than last year, which is a positive progress. Andrea admitted on this occasion that race at the Italian circuit was pretty tough, but in the end that’s what makes it so fantastic. The Ductao rider said that he had a really tough fight with Repsol Honda’s DaniPedrosa, Monster Yamaha Tech 3’s Pol Espargaro and Parmac Racing’s Andrea Iannone.

According to Dovizioso he was able to have tough fight with them because the horsepower of his bike enabled him to do well on the straight. Then he also made some great braking moves, especially at the San Danto curve and at the end he was able to achieve the best result that he could have attained, said Andrea. You too can have a great riding experience if you use high performance personal protective equipment for riders that are available at J&S Accessories’ outlets and also at its online store.

The best part about the motorcycle clothing and accessories of J&S Accessories is that the company has made them available at retail price. On top of it, it stocks a huge variety of various top motorcycle brands, so you will not face any problem in finding your desired accessory or clothing.
