CWM-LCR Honda Confirms Cal Crutchlow as Their Rider for 2015 MotoGP Season

Current Ducati Team rider Cal Crutchlow has not been able to catch any limelight because of his performance during this season, as he secured just 28 points to in the first half. Still the British rider was able to grasp media’s attention on this Sunday, August 3, 2014. When, the LCR Honda Team officially announced that Crutchlow will be part of Cecchinello's squad in the next season of MotoGP. The LCR team also made it known on this occasion that during the 2015 campaign Crutchlow will use the Honda RC213V Factory Spec.

Big thanks to the brand new sponsor CWM that has enabled the 29-year old Crutchlow to compete in the premier class racing for the fifth year in a row. This new deal with LCR Honda must have boosted the Crutchlow’s morale, as with 28 points during this season he is sitting at 14th position in the overall standings. More importantly, there are still some skillful riders left in the top ten that have not struck a 2015/2016 deal with their current or any other teams. Therefore, Crutchlow should definitely consider himself lucky that he was able seize this deal.

Nevertheless, CEO of LCR, Lucio Cecchinello was pretty pleased with the deal, as he said that they are grateful to Cal for believing in their 2015 racing project. He also said that they are thrilled to have new Team colours and cooperation of CWM. In the meanwhile, they will continue to work hard in order to end this season with the best possible result, said the executive of LCR.

The feelings of Anthony Costantinou, CEO of CWM, were not much different from Cecchinello, as he said that the 2015 season of MotoGP is going to be extremely exciting. Owing to the fact that CWM-LCR Honda has acquired the services of Crutchlow for their new bike and new team colours and they are very pleased with it.
