Dani Pedrosa Renews Contract with Repsol Honda Team Till 2016

After Mar Marquez and Valentino Rossi now its Dani Pedrosa’s turn to announce that he had finally struck a deal with his team. According to the latest update, the belligerent Spanish rider has made it known on Wednesday, July 9 that he has signed a new two-year contract with Repsol Honda Team. As a result, Dani has now got another two years to use Honda machines, as he will stick with the Japanese manufacturer till the end of 2016 Moto GP season. More importantly, Pedrosa has got the opportunity to remain the teammate of current Moto GP world champion Marc Marquez, who is still unbeatable in this season.

The renewal of contract with Honda has made Pedrosa extremely happy, but it will certainly be not so good news for Movistar Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo. Given that the two-year deal of Dani has further shrunken Lorenzo’s options in Moto GP, as he has yet to sign a new contract. Considering this fact, it seems that Jorge will probably end up signing another two-year agreement with Yamaha. On the other hand, Pedrosa must be excited that he has got the chance to continue riding with Honda team, as he has been with them right from the start of his Grand Prix career.

Yet this does not mean that Pedrosa has never made an effort to sign a deal with another manufacturer. The Spaniard was one of the riders, who had held discussion with Suzuki as a probable rifer before signing the contract with Honda on this Wednesday. Nevertheless, now that Dani has renewed his contract with Honda he said that he is extremely glad to announce that he has inked a new deal with Honda. On this occasion, the rider did not forget thank Honda for showing its trust in him for another two years.

Adding to it, Pedrosa said that it’s an ideal way to continue his racing career with a company with which he has made his debut in the premier class racing. Dani also said that he is thrilled to give his 100 percent and he will continue to work in the company of all the people at Honda Racing Corporation, who are involved.

Dani joined Honda team in 2006 after he won three World Championships, one in 125cc and two in 250cc category. During his time in premier class racing Pedrosa has never been able to win the title, but he has finished second in the world championship on three occasions. In fact, even in this season the 28-year old rider shares a joint second position with Rossi, as both the riders have earned 128 points after eight races.

Unlike Rossi and Dani, J&S Accessories does not need to share its position with anyone, as it is among the top ranked stores for bikers. That has always offered top notch personal protective gears as well as other cool products like helmets, gloves, water proof jackets, trousers and much more.
