Pramac Racing Confirms Danilo Petrucci for 2015 and 2016 Season

With just four rounds to go in the 2014 season, a number of teams in MotoGP are still looking to sign riders for next season. Pramac Racing was among these teams, as its star rider Andrea Iannone decided to part ways with his team. However, Pramac Racing did not waste much time in signing up a new rider after Iannone. The MotoGP has made it known on Wednesday, October 1st that it has acquired the services of Danilo Petrucci for next two seasons (2015 and 2016).
Petrucci, whose best ride during the 2014 season was in Aragon where he finished 11th in the race, will ride the Ducati machine of Pramac Racing along with Yonny Hernandez from 2015. Currently, the Italian rider is with Octo IodaRacing Team, but he failed to show his true skills with the side as he is sitting at 20th position in the overall standings.

It seems that the 23-year old rider has not fully recovered from the wrist fracture which he had suffered during a crash in Jerez. However, now Danilo has got a golden opportunity to race with a top MotoGP team from 2015 and it is anticipated that he will do his best to produce good results in the next season.
Talking about the agreement, Petrucci said that he is extremely glad that he has signed the deal with Pramac Racing. That is a team which he thinks has greatly promoted young riders and help them develop their riding, said Danilo. The Octo IodaRacing Team rider also said on this occasion that he is very proud and excited because he is getting an opportunity to ride Ducati machine.

A charged Danilo said that he will give his best to make the most of this opportunity and he would like to thank Pramac for providing this chance to him. Pretrucci did not forget to thank his current team chief Giampiero Sacchi on this occasion, as he said that he is thankful to him for giving the chance to compete in the premier class racing.
